Record-Breaking Achievements for Australia's Parkrun’s
This week has seen incredible performances from standout athletes in the Australian parkrun community!
This Week's Course Records Broken
- Phillip McConnon: 15 minutes and 51 seconds at O’Connors Beach parkrun, reducing the course record by 29 seconds.
- Jack Salcedo: 15 minutes and 47 seconds at Railton parkrun, with a 28-second reduction on the previous course record.
These two records broken were sad news for Thomas Murton, who had previously held both the O’Connors Beach and Railton parkrun course records.
- Belinda Dore: 17 minutes and 6 seconds at Albury Wodonga, equalling the course record held by Brooke Williams since July '23.
- Jahla Hunt: 19 minutes and 6 seconds at Kununurra parkrun, breaking her own course record again, having previously broken it in July, September, and now November. Well done, Jahla, for driving the improvement over the past few months.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their record-breaking feats and outstanding contributions to the parkrun community!
