This week has seen incredible performances from standout athletes in the UK's parkrun community!
This Week's Course Records Broken
- Andrew and Lauren Heyes: The highlight of the weekend took place at Sewerby Parkrun, where husband and wife duo Andrew and Lauren Heyes made history. Andrew finished in first place, breaking his own course record by 8 seconds, setting a new time of 15 minutes and 40 seconds. Not to be outdone, Lauren also shattered her previous course record by an incredible 36 seconds, setting a new record of 17 minutes and 7 seconds. Their achievements showcase an extraordinary display of talent and teamwork.
- Matthew Bennett: 16 minutes and 35 seconds at Ganger Farm parkrun, taking 7 seconds off the previous record.
- Joshua Fothergill: 15 minutes and 55 seconds at Millfield Parkrun, taking 4 seconds off the previous record.
- Joseph Grange: 15 minutes and 1 second at Raphael parkrun, taking 5 seconds off the previous record.
- Harry Anderson-Chapman: 16 minutes and 33 seconds at Rendlesham Forest, taking an amazing 19 seconds off the previous record.
- Phoebe Langlands: Equalling the course record at Melton Mowbray parkrun in 18 minutes and 24 seconds.
- Louise Small: Adding to her tally of parkrun course records with a brilliant run at Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun in 17 minutes and 6 seconds.
