Record-Breaking Achievements for Australia's Parkruns

This week has seen incredible performances from two standout athletes in the Australian parkrun community!

Shane Grund continues to cement his status as Australia's most dominant parkrunner by achieving his 39th parkrun record. Shane delivered a phenomenal run at Wyndham Vale Parkrun, finishing in an impressive 14 minutes and 52 seconds. His dedication and exceptional speed have set a new benchmark for the course.

Meanwhile, Brittany Harriden showcased her prowess by breaking the previous record at Jerrabomberra Mountain Reserve Parkrun. Brittany clocked in at 19 minutes and 6 seconds, shaving an astonishing 18 seconds off the previous record. Her commitment and training truly paid off with this fantastic achievement.
