This week might have been quiet for Australian parkrun records, but it saw some incredible achievements worth celebrating.

James Begbie secured the top spot at Katherine Hot Springs in the Northern Territories with an impressive time of 17 minutes and 4 seconds, shaving off 6 seconds from the previous record. Well done, James!

Meanwhile, Shane Grund added another record to his impressive haul with a blistering time of 15 minutes and 12 seconds at Toolern Creek near Melton, Victoria. His run took an astonishing 33 seconds off the previous record. Shane now holds 32 records across Australia and is truly a Parkrun Record Hero.
